IPL Season 5 - Match 7 Rajasthan Vs KKR

Rajasthan Royals Vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Having lost the shortened match against Delhi, KKR were expected to bounce back in the tournament.  KKR won the toss and elected to field.  Royals lost Rahane early as he got run out for a duck.  Dravid and Goswami steadied the innings.  Dravid got out for 26 and Goswami for 23.  Menaria and Brad Hodge formed a nice partnership and took the Royals towards a formidable score.   Owais Shah provided the finishing touch to enable the Royals to post a challenging score of 164/5.  Brett Lee bowled well and captured 2/29.

KKR's chase was pathetic as they lost the wickets of Kallis, Gambhir and McCullum in quick succession and were struggling at 3/8.  Manoj Tiwary was battling it alone with not much support from others.  He scored 59 runs off 49 balls.  Brett Lee blasted 25 of 11 balls before getting out.  KKR were bundled out for 142 in exactly 20 overs and Royals won by 22 runs.  Kevon Cooper was the best bowler capturing 3/28, while Ankeet Chavan, Amit Singh and Siddharth Trivedi provided him good support capturing 2 wickets apiece.
