IPL Season 5 - Match 51 - Delhi Vs KKR

Match 51   Delhi Daredevils Vs Kolkata Knight Riders
at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat.  Warner and Sehwag provided a blazing start.  But Sehwag got out scoring 23 off 9 balls when the total of 40 in the 4th over.  Warner fell soon after scoring 21 off 19 balls.  Jayawardene and Ross Taylor consolidated the innings.  Taylor was very slow and that resulted in the fall in run rate.  Jayawardene got out after making 30 off 27 balls.  Irfan Pathan came in next and played nicely.  Taylor got out after scoring an unimpressive 16 off 27 balls.  Pathan made 36 off 22 balls.  Delhi ended up at 153/9 in 20 overs, not a challenging total against the might KKR batting line up.

KKR had a great start as expected.  Gambhir fell after making 36 off 21 balls.  Kallis joined McCullum and took the score to 128 before losing his wicket for 30 runs off 27 balls.  McCullum got out at the same total after scoring 56 off 44 balls, possibly his best innings in this season.  Tiwary could score only 8 runs.  Yusuf Pathan and Debrata Das played cautiously fetching a win for KKR by 6 wickets.

KKR top the table for the time being.  But Delhi, having played one match less can still go above them in the next match.
